| Thanks to Russ I was able to finish fixing my rear brakes on my old 92 Tercel in time to finish my shopping for christmas. My rear wheel bearings were almost welded to the axle, but thanks to Russ he was able to rush over and take over in a short time. Thanks again Russ I hope to use your services again in the future you are very professional and knowledgeable. Russ has an incredeble mobile service truck fully equiped to all your needs, call him you would not regret it. |

I searched for a mobile mechanic in the Vancouver area on the internet and was VERY pleased to find such a reputable mechanic in Russ!
My old car had been sitting for a month after a frightening ride with no brakes. When I found Russ’ website I knew he was the guy to come and fix my car. His mobile truck is amazing and he is very professional. The best part was that I didn’t need a tow truck to bring my car to a garage and get suckered into paying too much because I’m a woman!
I was very pleased and impressed with the quality and promptness of Russ’ work and highly recommend him for any of your mechanical needs. Do not hesitate to call!

‘I found Richmond Mobile brake and tune on the internet. I had a van with badly seized back brakes in my driveway, I had already paid someone to “fix” them only to find them seized again the next time I drove the van. Russ came over and I was immediately impressed by how efficient he was. His experience and competence were evident. His diagnostic was right on, the repair was done fast and my van never had such good brakes. But above all that, it was how he dealt with me. As a woman i always get the brush off, I get ripped off or treated like an idiot. Russ treated me with respect, went way above the call of duty, helping me with the van’s battery and helping me starting it. It had bee parked for a while. He was genuine, did not overcharge me and the repairs were beyond reproach.
that was in 2010. This year I ran into some more issues with the vehicle. I immediately called Russ and he came to help me once more. He is utterly competent, a true professional. He cares about his work and his clients. And he is generous with help, information.

‘i have used Russ for 2 years now,he has done work on all my families vehicles.I am a female and have been taken by so many mechanical shops including dealerships,i took my caddilac for a tune-up to the dealership,a day or two later the car was still not responding right,problem starting slow response etc.My daughter told me to call this guy Russ so i did.He puled the plugs out and i was shocked to learned the dealer had noteven changed the plugs,i was’nt to sure so i told Russ i wanted to take the plugs and have them checked ,so i took them to canadian tire and a guy named chris laughed and said these are old plugs 3 were completely shot.So i came back home were Russ stayed while i had them checked.He explains every detial he does on are 3 vehicles.He has also come to the rescue for my 84 year old mom when her car broke down in coquitlam.He also makes me feel safe because he works on my daughter vehicles that carry my grandchildren,we have never had to have him come back twice with the same problem i can’t say that about dealerships mechanics we’ve dealt with.I also get the comfort of my home while he works on my vehicles.I also have him do the work on my 55 chevy pick-up my baby.My grandkids love Russ as he has taken the time to explain the mechanical parts of a vehicle.Russ is so honest and very reasonable in priceing,fast and very afficient i thank god everyday for you Russ.GOD BLESS FROM MY FAMILY TO YOU.’

One day recently, my big old truck wouldn’t start  I would turn the key and it sounded like the loudest grinding of some sort of gears that was tearing apart something else. That’s all I could say to explain it. I made some calls and was thinking I will just have to get it towed to Joe Soars and have them take a look. But towing isn’t cheap so I called Russ at Richmond Mobile Brake and Tune. He was really helpful on the phone, listened to my concerns, asked lots of questions and the price is better to have him come to me than towing costs. I made a video of the sound the truck was making and he even took the time to watch it to get an idea as to what it could be before coming out here. when Russ arrived he had a look and knew what the issue was immediately. He even brought the part along just in case so he wouldn’t have to leave to get it or have it delivered. He took the time to show me the replacement part and to explain clearly exactly what had happened. I always appreciate that! 45 min later it was done, the price was great and my truck actually sounds better than ever. I highly recommend Russ at Richmond Mobile Brake and Tune.

my car was having issues starting. i tried changing the fuel filter, pressure regulator, etc… called russ, he diagnosed it as the MAF. He swapped it out, the car started, and has been running fine ever since. all done in my driveway.

I can’t say enough good things about Russ. He has done work for me several times now and I will continue to only trust him with my car. He is HONEST, knowledgeable, friendly and his prices are fair! It is nice to find a mechanic who takes such pride in his work and looks out for the best interest of his customers. He answers all my questions with patience and even shows and explains to me why he is fixing/replacing parts, which is very important to me. Ladies, you can trust Russ! I asked him to look at a squealing timing belt and he found a major mistake another mechanic made two years ago! He could have charged me hours of labor to fix the mistake but instead he recommended taking it back to the other mechanic to fix the mistake. Thanks to Russ’ help, I’m now having it fixed for free! Russ’ honesty saved me a ton of money. His warranties are unbeatable too! Highly recommend!

Phoned Richmond Mobile and Brake told him I thought something was wrong with my brakes on my Ford Mustang Convertible. Russ came out to Pitt Meadows. Russ said my brakes front and back where gone and need them replaced.Ladies he even showed them to me before replacing them,they where cracked.Russ was fast and I had my car back that day. Until today, I boasted about how my mechanic comes to me and takes care of my car – 2004 G35 coupe. My bragging included Russ’s genuine care for the vehicle and my concerns. What I learned today is that Russ will be there when you need him and he won’t leave until you’re 100% satisfied (better yet, until he’s 100% satisfied) that your car is in top shape. I was stranded on the side of the road in Kits and called Russ in Richmond. He was on the scene in 15 minutes and pulled out all the stops with vendors to acquire a needed part and install in in record time so I could continue with my afternoon. Russ knows what he’s doing and proves it everytime I’ve called in him. I would/have recommend him to my family and friends. Thanks Russ. |

My brake line on my 4×4 broke on me. I was expecting a towing bill and who knows how much of a shop bill from a garage. A buddy told me about Russ. He had phoned him about a possible job on his truck and was given advice over the phone on what the problem was and how to fix it. I don’t know any other shop that would offer that advice over the phone? Russ told me he was very busy and couldn’t come for four days but phoned me back less than two days later and said he could be there in a half hour. I was at work and by the time i got home he was just finishing the job.I can’t say enough about how professional and knowledgable he was.I wouldn’t hessitate to phone him again if i needed help.Thanks again Russ…

Russ came over within a day of my call to take a look at my 1996 Suburban. It would not start and I assumed it was the fuel pump as it had been changed 3 previous times by larger service facilities and the truck had the same problems.Russ determined the problem was not the fuel pump but in a 4 inch section of wire from the top of the tank to the fuel pump itself.I’m almost positive that most of the previous pump changes were unnecessary and it was this little short section of wire that caused the problem all along. It was a difficult diagnosis because most people would automatically assume the pump was the problem right away and change it. The nature of this cable was if you were lucky and hooked it up it sometimes worked. Anyways a big huge thank you to Russ and his prompt,courteous, and honest service. He has found a new lifelong customer. If you need any work done to your car don’t hesitate to call him as I will from now on.

Russ has done an incredible job on my vehicle. Most recently, my car was running rough and needed new sparkplugs. Instead of just replacing with the same plugs he took out, Russ discovered that I had the wrong plugs to begin with. The conclusion: my car runs the best that it ever has since I bought it in 2006. I called Russ to re-build the carb on my 55 Plymouth Savoy. He took 1 look at it and found it was just a clogged needle valve. fixed it and then found 2 or 3 other things that needed attention, and then fixed them. He had great advice for things to look for down the road and then charged me a ridiculously low price. I would not think of calling anybody else in the future. Russ is THE MAN!!

I work from home & my husband works in North Van. We needed our truck fixed & were running into the problem of not being able to drop it off somewhere & then picking it up. I called Russ and he came on time and got the job done. The cost was 50% less than what the dealership quoted & nothing beats having someone come to your house to do the work. I will definately go back and I have already recommended Russ to my friends & family. A good, reliable & honest mechanic is hard to come by!!! Glad we have Russ! He also recommended some additional work that needed attention but didn’t pressure me to get it done.

I found Russ on Craigslist and after seeing the above comments and that he’s a member of the Better Business Bureau, thought I give him a try. I needed my brakes done on my Pontiac Firefly and find it very hard to find a good mechanic in Vancouver. He emailed me back promptly, took the time to answer all my questions…really good communication! Then he showed up on time and had the job done before I even knew it! He was professional and courtesy and provided excellent customer service and of course, did a great job. I’m completely impressed and will definitely use him again. If your tired of being ripped off and having mediocre jobs done, call Russ! A+++++mechanic!

I have used the Richmond Mobile to get my beloved BMW to running condition. Just before all this snow surprised us in BC my heater was not working.After finding Richmond mobile on the Craigslist and contacting Russ I was most impressed with his professional service and friendly approach to my problem. When he says that he has the best equipped mobile auto repair truck in B.C. he is not kidding. I have a 01 ford Taurus and the engine light was on so I called Russ at Richmond Mobile
When he came out to fix my problem he scanned my computer and found P401 code which is EGR insufficient flow.He ran a test on the DPFE and found it to be bad. called Napa for the part It only took 1 Hr to fix my car .i am very impressed |
